78 TESTED POSITIVE IN PUNJAB

LAHore: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Thursday that 78 people had been screened for receiving the study.
Speaking to the media here in the provincial capital, Dr Rashid said that 38 out of 384 tested samples were negative and 78 were optimistic. Many of these, 60 of whom were travelers, add.
Dr Rashid said patients were separated as soon as they were confirmed to be infected.
“If patients diagnosed with coronavirus are kept together, the disease is no longer contagious,” the provincial minister said.
At least two cases were recorded in Gujrat, both of which were being treated at Gujrat hospital, he said.
He explained that people from overseas know that they have a coronavirus. “All patients who have been diagnosed with dementia have come from abroad,” he added.
Dr Rashid said that Punjab has more than 500 rooms ready for division. Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center (SKMCH & RC), he adds, has a Level-3 laboratory and was given half of the COVID-19 test equipment.
