OIC FMs will meet in Islamabad for a brainstorming session.

On the second day of a meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Islamabad, they’ll keep talking about how to keep the Muslim world together and how to improve economic and trade ties on the second day of the meeting.

Ministers will hold a brainstorming session to talk about how the Muslim world can help build peace, justice, and harmony.

Later, after the closing session, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha will speak together at a joint press conference about the Middle East and North Africa.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the OIC’s strong voice as a representative body for 1.5 billion people was very important in dealing with Kashmir and Palestine.

In Islamabad, he said Muslim countries should not be part of bloc politics but should show their power to bring peace to the world rather than be part of a group.

The PM also said that the Muslim Ummah hasn’t done anything to help solve the problems in Kashmir and Palestine.

He had said that the international community had promised that Kashmiris would be able to decide their own future, but he was sad that India took away their special status on August 5, 2019.
