Fuel price reductions, according to Fawad Chaudhry, enrage the opposition.

ISLAMABAD: Fawad Chaudhry, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, said on Wednesday that the opposition and some of its media supporters were outraged by the relief provided to citizens in the form of lower gasoline and power rates despite global inflation.

In a tweet, he said, “It’s odd that the opposition and its media allies are outraged by the decrease in fuel and power costs.”

The minister said that it was a positive indicator that inflation in Pakistan was declining significantly, in contrast to global market patterns.

It should bring us joy, not stress. “The opposition’s true anguish is that they do not believe they will have a chance in the next shift (administration),” he observed.
